The State of the Race

Obama won the Guam caucuses by 7 vote and it’s big news.  A Google News search returned 8,781 results for “Guam” and 2,795 with the search refined to “Guam caucuses” in the last hour. The same searches return 8,540 and 54 for all of 2004. The whole year.

Sometimes it seems like this primary season has taken years off of lives. Of course, when you stop and think how many years out of how many lives the Bush administration has cost it brings some perspective as to why what went down in Guam constitutes big news.
