What have February 2nd and April 22nd got in common this year? On both days, events in Pennsylvania presage weeks more of what we’ve already had enough of. Anticlimactic much? Now it’s just a matter of hashing out percentages and delegates won. And the beat goes on. And on. And on.

Yep. that’s Pennsyltucky for ya.And people wonder why we beat tail outta there after 6 months of living there. We were like, oh, yeah, that’s right – we left here ON PURPOSE many years ago; what made us thing things had CHANGED???
I’m sure my republican mother, a Hillary-Hater-is BESIDE her self. I can’t bring myself to ask her after our last discussion about Hillary last year. UGH.

Never heard “Pennsyltucky” before. Most of my forays into the state have either been around Philly or to PA Dutch tourist country. It’s pretty country out there. One time we did go to a folk festival in Columbia, PA. It was beautiful but it did feel a lot more heartland that the more easterly parts. The hotel breakfast buffet had grits. When there are grits I know I’ve moved out of my element. Was a damned good buffet, though.
