To whom it may concern: Happy Easter!

easter_buddies.jpgHow’s Easter going for you? It’s going to be low key here. Our teenage granddaughter is spending most of it volunteering at her church. Our two year old grandson has a nice Easter basket that doesn’t include much candy because it’s just been discovered that he has a serious peanut allergy and no one here has figured out exactly what’s safe yet.  Traces of peanut can show up in the most surprising places, it seems.

Our son is making his way home from a gig way upstate.  The bass player who lives in the spare room will go to Easter Services with some relatives. My sister does Passover more than Easter, although she’ll dutifully show up for whatever family celebrations we’re having.

Mr. Yenta is still not allowed to do much of anything except elevate his leg. The phlebitis is finally starting to show some improvement,l though and mobility might be just around the corner.  Low key is almost always fine with me.   I hope that however you’re spending the day is fine with you, too.

Have a Happy Easter and a Wonderful Passover. Those peanut allergies can be tough because peanut oil is used in so many things.

Kvatch, there you are! I will blogroll Ragebot posthaste. One of the advantages of setting up a new blog is that it seems easier to start a new blogroll than to clean up the old one.
